K.I.N. provides assistance where government and faith-based organizations are unable to provide immediate or personalized help.

How does K.I.N. help?

K.I.N. provides assistance to families experiencing crisis such as:

  • Serious illness of a parent and/or child
  • Home fires or other catastrophic events
  • Unexpected job loss
  • Other traumatic events

K.I.N. assistance may be in the form of:

  • Clothing
  • Emergency food supplies
  • Gas cards
  • School supplies
  • Household needs

All information regarding families referred to us remains confidential.

Your donations don’t just help around the holidays, they support families year-round. In 2024, your donations supported:

  • February: Donation to Rural Care and Share Food Shelf
  • May: Donation to Rural Care and Share Food Shelf
  • May: Two High School Senior Scholarships
  • August: Donation to Rural Care and Share Food
    August: F.I.G.’s – (Fill in the Gaps) school supply donations
  • September: Funds to 4 Northwestern Schools “Closets” (hygiene and clothing supplies for emergencies)
  • November: Donation to Care and Share Food Shelf
  • November 23: Annual K.I.N. Craft Fair
  • December 19: K.I.N. Christmas Project Distribution

Referrals to K.I.N.

Confidential referrals to K.I.N. are usually made by school and church officials, but if you know of a family in need, or are interested in volunteer opportunities please contact us.
